Dogworks is an all volunteer group located in Toledo, Ohio, whose purpose is to rescue and re-home abandoned and neglected dogs.

Most of our dogs come to us from euthanizing shelters in Ohio, Michigan, and surrounding areas. We strive to rescue as many dogs as we can, but the need for new fosters and volunteers is crucial to our continuing efforts.
                                                                                       
We are always searching for dog lovers that are willing to open up their home to foster a dog or pup in need. Foster care is a vital part to giving beautiful dogs a new start at life. We cannot save these desperate canines without your help. Foster parents are not responsible for veterinary expenses, and we also will furnish a dog crate, along with the first bag of dog food.

You provide guidance, patience and shelter and we will provide medical care, their first bag of food and a crate to care for your foster dog.  Please feel free to ask questions. If you are interested in fostering specific breed–just ask! There are so many dogs in need! Our foster homes usually have first choice of adopting a dog in their care.
